Kitesurfing, surfing, snowboarding. These have their own place in my life, alongside the companies and the music. I like being somewhere that asks for my attention in a different way.
Wind and waves don’t care what I had planned for the afternoon. That can be inconvenient. I keep coming back anyway.
Living in different countries has also changed the music I play and the people I spend time with. The French electronic scene, London’s warehouses, dance floors in Spain, communities in Mexico and Thailand: those experiences belong to the same life, even when they don’t fit the same biography.
