From success to significance
My adventure in business started at twelve years old, when I built my first website in 1998. A year later, I launched Allo Croissant, delivering fresh croissants and newspapers to my neighbours by bicycle.
I've always been drawn to entrepreneurship, computers and the internet. Alongside my business studies, I pursued a degree in computer science, driven by a desire to create a company that can have a global impact.
In my early 20s, I continued building online projects, the most significant being a business importing electronics like MP3 players and smartphones from China. Around the same period, I founded a non-profit focused on medical cannabis in France, aiming to educate on its benefits beyond recreational use.
My professional journey took a significant step when I joined HotelTonight in London. This US startup was growing fast, and it was epic to be part of its expansion in Europe. The startup's success culminated in a $400 million acquisition by Airbnb.
But as I reached a higher level of professional success, a question echoed: "Is this all there is?". Working in London, part of a fast-growing startup, I was living the dream by conventional standards. Yet, I felt a disconnect. The more I achieved, the more I realized that true fulfillment wasn't found in a good salary. It was during this time, while also being an activist for medical cannabis, that a deeper understanding began to take root.
I saw a world obsessed with more: more money, more possessions, more status. A world where extreme capitalism reigns, creating a gap between our actions and our true selves. We are caught in an endless cycle of comparison and accumulation, disconnected from the universal consciousness that binds us all. It became clear that this path leads our planet to its limits, destroying nature, animals, and our minds.
This realization was a turning point. I could no longer justify pouring my energy into pursuits that served only my ego or the endless appetite of a consumerist society. I understood that happiness wasn't a prize to be won through wealth but something more profound, found in authentic presence, connection, and purpose.
That's when I decided to quit my well-paid job in London and launch one of the first legal cannabis products in Europe. With just 10K€ in savings and a bank loan of the same amount at a steep 9% interest, I took the risk to start Harmony, one of the first cannabis startup in Europe. Our first product, Kanavape, was a big bet – introducing CBD when it was barely known back in 2014.
And it's been a crazy ride. We didn't know it then, but we were the first player in a market that would become a multi billion industry. In just about ten years, CBD exploded everywhere. With Harmony, we hired over 100 people, launched 120 hemp-based products and sold over 7 million units. I fought and won a 6-year-long legal battle against French authorities to legalize the use of CBD. I learned a lot, not just about business but about what it means to make a difference.
Today, my mission goes beyond my businesses. It's about inspiring and guiding others to think big, not just about their immediate gains, but to build projects that heal the world. It's about challenging the status quo and proving that we can reach professional success while positively impacting society.
With 20 years of entrepreneurship experience, I became an expert in product development, refining processes, building audience, and leveraging technology to enhance efficiency. Currently, I'm mainly focused on using AI for spiritual awakening and positive impact entrepreneurship.
